Why have a Landlords Gas Safety Inspection?
A Landlords Gas Safety Inspection is a legal requirement for Landlords & Agents of any rented property (including having lodgers in your own home) to have a current in date valid Landlords Gas Safety Certificate or CP12 which is supplied upon the completion of a Inspection Visit.
Many Homeowners also choose to have their gas appliances inspected for safety for peace of mind and when buying/selling a property.
Beware of companies offering cheap certificates as poor quality inspections can cost lives. As the Owner or Landlord you have a duty of care to ensure your tenants and other occupants are safe when using the gas equipment you have supplied.
